William is an associate in Hamilton & Padgett’s Brunswick office, where he works alongside Joseph Padgett. He focuses his practice on catastrophic injury and serious personal injury cases stemming from car accidents, trucking accidents, and slip and falls.
After growing up in the Golden Isles, William earned his political science degree from Georgia College & State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, William served on the mock trial executive board, worked in the UGA Veterans Clinic helping veterans navigate their VA claims, and interned with the Oconee County District Attorney’s Office through UGA’s Prosecutorial Justice Program.
Following law school, William returned home to Brunswick and worked for an insurance defense firm. He spent the first several years of his career defending auto accidents, trucking accidents, slip and falls, and nursing homes. Working on the defense side gave him valuable insight into how insurance companies defend personal injury claims, insight he now uses on behalf of the injured.
Outside of the office, William serves as President of the Glynn County Young Lawyers Division and on a board for First Tee Golden Isles. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, and cheering on the Dawgs.
